ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Rick Resnick is a former newspaper writer, magazine publisher, and longtime media executive whose byline has appeared in sponsored features across Fortune, TIME, People, and Sports Illustrated, among others. His career also included a decade working at Money magazine and senior marketing roles in the television industry.

Through The Moderately Motivated Man series, Rick writes practical, accessible self-help for guys who want to build better lives without added stress, hustle culture, or personality overhauls. His books cover the everyday challenges most men know they could handle a little better, from managing their time and building good habits to taking control of their finances.

The philosophy behind the series is simple: meaningful improvement doesn’t require becoming a different person. A few sensible changes, applied consistently, can go a long way. Or, as Rick prefers to put it: Get Better at Life (Without Trying Too Hard).

Rick is also the author of The New Husband’s Survival Guide, a laugh-out-loud guide for men trying to coexist peacefully with women.

When he’s not writing, Rick plays tennis and golf, obsessively supports Arsenal FC, and sings lead in a rock cover band based in Pike County, Pennsylvania.
